  2. thedaisiestdaisy: tenlittlebullets: FAVORITE MARTHA MOMENT I mean, not only does she defeat the Master all on her own, she fucking trolls him.  On her own initiative.  The Doctor didn’t say shit about a red-herring plan or a gun with four parts; Martha has the Master’s number so well that even as she puts the real plan in place, she comes up with a diversion she knows he’ll fall for like the gullible supervillain he is, and she deploys it for shits and giggles and uses it to get herself captured and on board the Valiant and then she faces down public execution so that she can see the look on his face and tell him he’s been owned. …you know what, somehow this hadn’t occurred to me! I mean, obviously if the Doctor only had time to whisper to her “use the countdown” (which … itself makes no fucking sense, because how would either of them know about that) BUT anyway of course the Doctor didn’t have time to tell Martha to redirect! But here she is with her gun in four parts and her timing the reveal to Docherty to get aboard the Valiant and really everything. That’s all her! OH MARTHA. <3 That is why she was the best companion evar. (Not that I don’t love all of them, but Martha will always be the best.)
